Each year Chattanooga Fire Protection, Inc. is honored to provide the Annual Life Safety Training Seminar for area fire & building officials. Life Safety Training Seminar 2008 is scheduled for May 8, 2008 at the Sheraton Read House Silver Ball Room with registration beginning at 7:30 AM. The seminar will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. Please note that all guest speakers and engineers will provide credit hour certification at the end of classes this year. This year’s seminar should provide approximately 8-9 credit hours. Topics include: Firestop Systems, Anchor Systems, Residential Kitchen Suppression Systems, & Fire Sprinkler Systems. The 2008 Seminar will be extremely special this year because of the classes offered. We have included Building Inspectors, Architects, General Contractors and as always our Fire Officials as guest from Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia this year. There is a $25.00 fee per person for attending the seminar to help pay for the increased cost of the seminar. Breakfast beverages and snacks, Full lunch and afternoon beverages and snacks will be provided. Our door prizes will be spectacular this year as will our programs. RSVP please no later than March 31, 2008 to be assured of seating, credit hours and lunch reservations. If you have been to our annual seminar in the past we can promise you an exceptionally new seminar this year and for those that have not we can promise you a day filled with knowledge and expertise. We are fortunate that the Hilti Corporation will have Engineers, Fire Specialist and Managers from Tulsa, Oklahoma providing valuable expertise and training this year, Twenty First Century from Irving, Texas will have representation, and Fire Team USA will be represented at the seminar this year. In the opening portion of the seminar I will be bringing a very special message. I will be sharing special announcements and stories with everyone at this time, please don’t be late and miss the opening ceremony.
